脱ぎ捨てられたフェルトの衣服が、まるで主体として立ち上がるかのように見える造形作品。

布そのものが身体から独立した存在として現前するとき、

その関係の反転が、奇妙な生命性を感じさせます。

本展ではフェルトのファッション造形作品に加え、
白と黒、存在と不在、行為と現象などの反転構造を扱う平面作品も展示します。

【作家略歴：鈴木博文】

衣服の縫製技術を修得後、2024年初個展でフェルトを用いたファッション造形作品を発表。同年名古屋PARCOのパフォーマンス企画「Before You Know It」では衣装制作を担当。以降、制作という行為とそこから生じる現象との間を往復するプロセスに着目して平面作品へと展開し、各地で発表を続けている。

Felt garments left as if just removed appear to stand upright, embodying a life of their own.

When the material itself steps out from the body and presents its independent presence, its subtle reversals generate an uncanny sense of vitality.

This showcase includes Suzuki’s felt sculptures along with drawings that explore structural reversals such as presence/absence, whiteness/blackness, and action/phenomenon.

Artist Biography: Hirofumi Suzuki

After training in garment construction, Suzuki presented his first solo exhibition of felt-based fashion sculptures in 2024. He created costumes for the Nagoya PARCO performance project “Before You Know It.”

His practice has expanded into two-dimensional works that examine the interplay between action and the phenomena that emerge from these processes. He continues to exhibit works across Japan.
